Healthy Paws Animal Hospital specializes in compassionate and affordable annual physical examinations and vaccinations to care for your pet's complete health needs. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help prevent or alleviate serious help problems.
Ultrasonography
Our on site, stateoftheart ultrasound is a diagnostic tool for looking at the organs and structures inside your pet's belly and chest. Tissues and fluids can be collected with the assistance of an ultrasound.
Pharmacy
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products, and heartworm preventives to meet the needs of your pet. We carry a full line of prescription and OTC diets by Hill's Pet Nutrition. For your convenience, we also offer a full service online pharmacy through Vetsource.
Internal Medicine and Surgical Consult
We offer in-hospital referrals to veterinary specialists who perform ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures, and complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgery to assist our veterinarians in the diagnosis and treatment of more complicated cases.
Radiology
Our on site, fully digital x-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We also offer full mouth radiographs for dental procedures, which are essential in appropriately treating and preventing worsening periodontal disease.
Laboratory
Our in-house laboratory provides for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, heartworm testing, and intestinal parasite testing. We also perform additional testing to aid in the diagnosis of parvo virus, pancreatitis, feline leukemia virus, feline immunodeficiency virus, and thyroid disorders. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Behavior Counseling
We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, and aggression. Referral to a behaviorist is also available.
Surgical, Dental and Anesthesia Services
Our quality surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We have the ability to perform orthopedic, soft tissue and elective surgeries, along with comprehensive dental procedures. Our dental procedures include tooth scaling, polishing, extraction when necessary, and oral surgery. We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or higher-risk patients. All anesthetic procedures are monitored by a trained veterinary technician.
